Cloister

An architectural masterpiece from the 18th century.

The 15th-century cloister has a rectangular layout (10x12 meters) with perfect geometry and is designed on two floors.

The first floor consists of 22 sandstone columns embellished with decorated capitals resting on polyhedral bases, whose shafts have various circular and polygonal sections.
The colonnade on the upper floor was built in the 18th century.

The open space is dominated by the slender structure of the hexagonal bell tower in Catalan Gothic style.
Erected in 1632, it is topped by a serrated spire which, with its vertical development, gives a certain impetus to the austere architecture of the cloister.
